Please join us to celebrate amazing leaders and breakthroughs in the Campaign for Fair Development including Environmental Justice, Work with Dignity and Housing. We will be making a special surprise announcement at the dinner too! Destiny Watford, student leader from Curtis Bay and recent winner of the international Goldman Environmental Prize will be sharing along with Eastside Human Rights Committee member, Brandon McGoogan how we are connecting struggles through our call for development without displacement and community control of land.
This year's dinner will also include a special showing of landscape paintings documenting the struggle to stop the Curtis Bay incinerator by local artist, Taylor Smith-Hams.
Finally, we will be honoring this year's Human Rights Champions!
So get ready for a great night of celebration, connection, reflection... and great local food!
Doors open at 5:30pm!
